Safety and Insurance

EcoAdventure Ireland carries €6.5 million public liability insurance cover for all our programmes. This is extremely high cover and exceeds the industry standard but we do not see this as an excuse for careless behaviour.

Safety is our number one priority in all our activities and takes precedence over all other considerations. For this reason we will not tolerate any safety breaches by either our staff or our clients.

All our programmes are designed to provide the maximum safety standards and the lowest possible risk to participants. We believe all visits to Knockree should be fun and memorable for all the right reasons and while we strive to provide a fun learning environment our experienced tutors and instructors will ensure all safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Should any group member compromise their safety or the safety of others EcoAdventure Ireland reserve the right to request any individual engaged in such behaviour to leave where upon the group leader will be solely responsible for that person and their removal from Knockree.

All those taking part in Pony Trekking must complete an AIRE (Association of Irish Riding Establishments) Waiver Form. This can be downloaded here if you wish to complete it in advance. Copies will also be available at Knockree. Ideally a parent should sign this form on behalf of the student.
